General Information


Eligibility:
Individuals who completed a Bachelor’s Degree  with an average G.P.A of at least 3.0 (US) from an accredited university may apply. Applicants should have had formal or informal experience working with children or youth. Applicants should be able to demonstrate the potential for flexibility in a new  cultural environment.

    i.   Rolling admissions
    ii.  Completion of on-line application
    iii. Completion of TASP medical form (sent after receipt of application)
    iv. University transcript sent to TASP office
    v.  Interview

2012 - 2014: $24,000 Full Program

Stipend:

Year I   2,000 NIS  per month
Year II  2,400 NIS  per month


Scholarships
:


        * MASA Scholarship $4,500 - $7,500 for those who qualify


New Immigrants:
For those who qualify for Student Authority Grants - tuition grant about $3000 annually.


Student Loans:

Applicants from the United States and Canada may qualify for graduate student loans in their respective countries. Bar Ilan University is a fully recognized university of international stature and as such is listed as an approved university both for the granting of loans and the deferment of payments on existing student loans.


Housing:
Interns rent shared apartments in Tel Aviv and vicinity. The average cost of being a flatmate is about $400 per month. During August orientation Interns are encouraged to stay at a youth hostel in Tel Aviv while they search for apartments.

Health Care:
Comprehensive Health Care is included.

Program begins Wednesday August 15, 2012

Hebrew Language Study
