TASP: Tel Aviv Teach and Study Program ,established in 1997, brings university graduates to live and work in Tel Aviv as Israelis. The goals for TASP participants are multifold: to study for an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language/ TEFL, to impact the English language development of children in Tel Aviv and Rishon LeZion and to experience life in a vibrant and dynamic multicultural society.
The TASP Internship program combines teaching English as a foreign language in Israeli public schools with workshops, seminars and an MA program in TEFL: Teaching English as a Foreign Language. The MA is an interdisciplinary program offered by Bar-Ilan University and all coursework is given in English.

As a TASP Intern, you will be able to take advantage of many varied social, cultural and educational activities in Israel during your two year stay. You will also study Hebrew. You will be studying for your MA at Bar-Ilan University in Israel's largest School of Education. Your program will be interdisciplinary with faculty from both the School of Education and the Linguistics Department in The School of English. Your program will be delivered entirely in English.
